Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a charge to change long distance or dedicated service?

Your local telephone company will assess a charge for switching long distance carriers. This is a per line charge that is charged to you on your local telephone bill. This fee, (often to a certain dollar limit) is normally reimbursed by your new long distance provider. "Will reimbusement be made for PIC change charges?", is a question that should be asked at the time of sale.

Installation of new phone lines, centrex, dedicated T-1 and other services normally have a one time installation charge. Occasionally carriers and local phone companies have promotions waiving one time non-recurring (NRC) charges.
